This course aims to prepare professionals from the public and private sectors for teaching and research activities, as well as to help form a critical mass capable of planning collective actions. Students will be able to prepare and teach undergraduate classes in Public Health, conduct and present research projects, and plan procedures at both individual and collective levels.

*ATTENTION: The first module of this course will consist of live, remote classes on Connected Domain, within the Higher Education Teaching Methodology discipline.

Over the next six modules, subjects in the Related Domain area will be taught, taking place over four days per month, with classes from Tuesday to Friday, depending on the availability of physical space, from 2 pm to 6 pm on the first day of each module and from 8 am to 6 pm on the following three days. Dates are determined according to a calendar presented by the General Secretariat. 

Note: The subjects of Experimental and Human Bioethics and Scientific Research Methodology will be taught in an online format .

**The following related field courses will be offered in a hybrid format, meaning with in-person classes and live streaming. Biostatistics: October 13, 14, 15 and 16, 2020; Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Health Sciences: December 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2020.

*The subject of Related Domain : Drug Therapy in Dentistry will be offered in a hybrid format.

Students who have already completed the subjects of the Related Domain in another Mastermay request, from the Commercial Department, before starting the course, an analysis of the exemption (validation), provided that these studies were completed within a minimum period of 4 years.

From the eighth module onwards, the course will take place every two months, from Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 6 pm, on dates established by the faculty, with classes focused on the Area of ​​Concentration (Public Health (Emphasis on the Family Health Program Strategy)).

This course features the participation of guest professors and managers from municipalities in the region, allowing Master's students to broaden their horizons regarding differentiated health care strategies. In addition to theoretical and practical activities related to the area, students will complete their Master's degree with the basic documents and lessons prepared to teach the subject in an undergraduate course. These materials will be developed by the students in the 'Teaching-Learning Process' course, where teaching practice will take place.

d) After confirmation of the course start date, it is necessary to send scanned copies (front and back) of the following documents to the address matricula@slmandic.edu.br

  • Birth or marriage certificate – consularized;
  • Passport containing: Personal data and stamp and entry visa to the country;
  • RNE – National Foreigner Registration or its protocol with the Federal Police, this with visa and authorization to remain in the country and indication of the period of stay;

  • One 3x4 photo, front-facing, with a neutral background, which can be scanned.

(e ) On the first day of class, it is necessary to bring the original graduation diploma translated by a sworn public translator and consularized, which will be scanned by the registrar's office.

Note: The curriculum will be evaluated by the Postgraduate Committee of São Leopoldo Mandic and the candidate will receive a response regarding their approval within 7 days.

d) Pre-registration:

It is important to note, however, that the college reserves the right to finalize enrollment according to the order of payments received, respecting the number of places available in each class.     b) The documentation required to regularize the enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Secretary of the Unit, within the period in accordance with the contract:
    – Birth or marriage certificate
    – certified by the Brazilian consulate;
