Medical students from the 4th year onwards
This course is designed to consolidate the systematization of the development of clinical reasoning and manual skills in respiratory and ventilatory control situations. To this end, we have chronologically structured the content with clinical discussion and application of practical procedures in a protected and simulated environment under faculty supervision. We will address the care of patients who are victims of trauma and acute injuries, emphasizing the maintenance of ventilatory and respiratory competence. We will present and practice, using models, the approach to emergency situations, emphasizing differential diagnosis and specific management for each of the critical situations involved in this specific step of trauma care. We will encompass knowledge of specific anatomy and applied physiology in a practical and direct manner. We will analyze and detail the differential diagnoses of thoracic trauma with an imminent risk of hypoxia. We will develop competence in the interpretation of complementary exams in the emergency room. We will also include training in specific technical skills for performing invasive and non-invasive procedures in the management of critical situations involving respiratory compromise in trauma patients.
With approaches such as problem-based learning, clinical simulations, and the use of advanced educational technologies, students are prepared using comprehensive and dynamic active teaching methodologies to face the challenges of modern dental practice.
The course holds certifications from the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education), guaranteeing national recognition from a major Higher Education Institution, Mandic. This ensures the quality of teaching and provides a solid and recognized education throughout the country.
A qualified and renowned faculty, offering personalized support and ongoing guidance for excellent learning.
With modern infrastructure, well-equipped clinics, multidisciplinary laboratories, and technologically advanced classrooms, we provide an ideal environment for practical and theoretical learning. Exclusively, we have a dedicated Mini Lab, equipped with cutting-edge digital technologies and a team of highly qualified prosthetic professionals, ensuring a complete digital workflow. Furthermore, the radiology center boasts state-of-the-art equipment such as CT scanners, portable scanners, image manipulation software, and 3D photography capabilities.
