O Brasil conta atualmente com mais de 375 mil cirurgiões-dentistas generalistas e das mais diversas especialidades. O conhecimento sobre Odontologia Legal é indispensável a todos os profissionais, seja para uma atuação mais segura a partir dos conhecimentos das normais e leis, mas também para permitir atuação na área, como estar apto a realizar perícia judiciais. A carência dessa disciplina na formação profissional aliado ao grande número de cirurgiões-dentistas, que aumenta ano a ano, vem tornando o conhecimento em Odontologia Legal cada vez indispensável para todos os profissionais e não somente àqueles que atuam na área. Outro fator que torna cada vez mais necessário o conhecimento de Odontologia Legal é o fenômeno conhecido como judicialização da saúde e o crescente aumento dos processos judiciais envolvendo a Odontologia, sendo um amplo campo para atuação dos dentistas, no entanto, no Espírito Santo, são poucos os profissionais capacitados para essa atuação. Assim, o conhecimento de Odontologia Legal se tornou imprescindível não somente para quem deseja seguir essa especialidade, mas a todos que atuam na Odontologia, como uma capacitação para uma prática clínica segura, baseada nas normas, permitindo a disseminação dos conteúdos e orientações e também na atuação na Perícia Judicial.

Payment Methods
Tuition Payment Method: Bank slip or credit card (minimum installment of R$ 500.00 in up to 6 installments). Monthly Payment Methods: Monthly payments must be made via bank slips, due up to 5 days before the start of the course. For foreign students, three monthly installments must be paid in advance on the first day of class, in Brazilian currency (Real). The remaining installments must be paid monthly from the second module onwards, due on the 10th of each month. Refund: (1) If the registrant submits a request to withdraw from the Course under the terms mentioned above, up to 20 (twenty) days before the start date, Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic will refund the equivalent of 80% (eighty percent) of the investment amount, with the remaining 20% (twenty percent) considered administrative expenses; (2) If you submit a request to withdraw from the Course under the terms mentioned above after its commencement, you will forfeit the right to a refund of the Course fee, even if you have not attended classes, in view of the provisions of applicable legislation, the General Postgraduate Regulations of the Institution and also because the Courses are offered based on the number of registered students, in which case the vacancy will be filled by the withdrawing student; (3) For students enrolled in Courses called “Remaining Vacancies/Immediate Start”, if you submit a request to withdraw from the Course under the terms mentioned above up to 20 (twenty) days before the date of the next module, Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic will refund 80% (eighty percent) of the amount corresponding to the investment, with the remaining 20% (twenty percent) being considered administrative expenses. If payment confirmation occurs after the available places are filled, the course candidate will receive a refund of the amount paid. * Installments related to the course payment plan will follow the following due dates: Master's Degree – Every 5th of each month Doctorate – Every 20th of each month Other types of courses (e.g., Specialization, Training, etc.) – Every 10th of each month If the course has an Extended Payment Plan option and the student chooses it, they must indicate this before signing the contract. – Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter in Brazil (whenever applicable); – CRNM (National Immigration Registry Card) OR RNE (Foreign National Registry) OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil; – Professional card (which proves the permission to practice the profession) – Recent proof of residence (last three months); – One 3cm x 4cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning; – Original Graduation Diploma translated by a sworn and consularized public translator.
Note: As required by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the Graduation diploma is requested to be scanned at the institution, and must be delivered within the period in accordance with the contract, under penalty of non-issuance of the diploma if you have this pendency. All assignments, tests and other written activities must be done in Portuguese.
