Capacitar o cirurgião dentista ao atendimento do paciente com necessidades especiais (neurológicas e sistêmicas), bem como o acesso às técnicas de abordagem e manejo, recomendações e formas de tratamento específicas;
Orientar o cirurgião dentista ao atendimento do paciente com necessidade especial em nível hospitalar, sob sedação oral e sedação consciente (óxido nitroso);
Esclarecer ao cirurgião dentista os cuidados básicos com a terapia medicamentosa (analgésicos, anti-inflamatórios, antibióticos e anestésicos locais) no atendimento de pacientes que requerem cuidados especiais por se encontrarem neurologicamente ou sistemicamente comprometidos.

Segundo e Terceiro módulos – Domínio Conexo: Disciplinas obrigatórias e exigidas pelo MEC (Ministério da Educação) e CFO (Conselho Federal de Odontologia), sendo comuns a todas as especialidades, da seguinte forma:
O Segundo módulo ocorrerá presencialmente e com transmissão ao vivo pela plataforma Blackboard durante 4 dias, das 8h às 18h para as disciplinas de Emergências Médicas e Terapêutica Medicamentosa.
O Terceiro módulo, para as disciplinas de Ética e Legislação Odontológica e Metodologia da Pesquisa Científica serão realizados na forma EAD.
Note: Students who have already completed the subjects in these two Related Domain modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Drug Therapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) in another Specialization course may request, from the Commercial Department before starting the course, an analysis of the exemption (validation) of these studies, provided that the minimum period of up to 4 years from the start date of the course is respected. Exceptionally for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted on the validated Related Domain subjects. If the request occurs after the start of classes, the discount will only be valid for the months following the date of the request.
A partir do Terceiro módulo, o curso ocorrerá mensalmente de segunda à quarta-feira das 08h às 18h com aulas voltadas para a Área de Concentração (Pacientes com Necessidades Especiais).
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date indicated above if the minimum number of students is not reached. The registrant is responsible for waiting for confirmation of the start date from the Commercial Department so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

d) Upon confirmation of enrollment in the selected course, scanned copies (front and back) of the following documents must be sent to matricula@slmandic.edu.br
· Birth or marriage certificate – certified by the Brazilian consulate;
· Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter Brazil (whenever applicable);
· RNE – Foreign National Registry OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil;

e) On the first day of academic activities, it is necessary to bring the original graduation certificate translated by a certified translator and stamped by the Brazilian consulate, which will be digitized by the secretariat.
Note: This higher education institution will only regard the student as duly enrolled once all the aforementioned documents have been received and accepted.

Current Discounts:
A 10% discount on tuition fees is offered to former students of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, with the exception of those who completed single-module courses or courses lasting less than 12 months, at the following campuses: Campinas, Brasília, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, and Vila Velha.
Students who wish to pay semesterly in full receive a 3% on their monthly fees;

Segundo e Terceiro módulos – Domínio Conexo: Disciplinas obrigatórias e exigidas pelo MEC (Ministério da Educação) e CFO (Conselho Federal de Odontologia), sendo comuns a todas as especialidades, da seguinte forma:
O Segundo módulo ocorrerá presencialmente e com transmissão ao vivo pela plataforma Blackboard durante 4 dias, das 8h às 18h para as disciplinas de Emergências Médicas e Terapêutica Medicamentosa.
O Terceiro módulo, para as disciplinas de Ética e Legislação Odontológica e Metodologia da Pesquisa Científica serão realizados na forma EAD.
Note: Students who have already completed the subjects in these two Related Domain modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Drug Therapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) in another Specialization course may request, from the Commercial Department before starting the course, an analysis of the exemption (validation) of these studies, provided that the minimum period of up to 4 years from the start date of the course is respected. Exceptionally for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted on the validated Related Domain subjects. If the request occurs after the start of classes, the discount will only be valid for the months following the date of the request.

d) Upon confirmation of enrollment in the selected course, scanned copies (front and back) of the following documents must be sent to matricula@slmandic.edu.br
· Birth or marriage certificate – certified by the Brazilian consulate;
· Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter Brazil (whenever applicable);
· RNE – Foreign National Registry OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil;
· Recent proof of residence (last three months).
· One 3 cm x 4 cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning.
e) On the first day of academic activities, it is necessary to bring the original graduation certificate translated by a certified translator and stamped by the Brazilian consulate, which will be digitized by the secretariat.
Note: This higher education institution will only regard the student as duly enrolled once all the aforementioned documents have been received and accepted.
All assignments, tests and other written activities will be done in Portuguese.

c) Registration:

Current Discounts:
A 10% discount on tuition fees is offered to former students of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, with the exception of those who completed single-module courses or courses lasting less than 12 months, at the following campuses: Campinas, Brasília, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, and Vila Velha.
Students who wish to pay semesterly in full receive a 3% on their monthly fees;

The undergraduate Dentistry course is full-time. Classes are held Monday through Friday, in the morning and afternoon. There are some activities on Saturdays, according to the academic calendar. Learn more details below:
- a) Enrollment:
Apply online or through the Commercial Department by calling 0800 941 7 941, by WhatsApp +55 19 99228-8781, or by e-mail curso@slmandic.edu.br. For the Institution to consider the student duly enrolled in the class, they must make the payment corresponding to the enrollment in the course through a bank slip with a CPF, credit card, or international exchange. In addition, the student must electronically sign the digital contract, which will be sent by e-mail through the IziSign Platform. It is worth mentioning that São Leopoldo Mandic reserves the right to enroll students in accordance with the order of payments, respecting the number of vacancies in each class. b) The documentation required to regularize the enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Secretary of the Unit, within the period in accordance with the contract:
– Birth or marriage certificate
– certified by the Brazilian consulate;
– Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter in Brazil (whenever applicable); – CRNM (National Immigration Registry Card) OR RNE (Foreign National Registry) OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil; – Professional card (which proves the permission to practice the profession) – Recent proof of residence (last three months); – One 3cm x 4cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning; – Original Graduation Diploma translated by a sworn and consularized public translator.
Note: As required by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the Graduation diploma is requested to be scanned at the institution, and must be delivered within the period in accordance with the contract, under penalty of non-issuance of the diploma if you have this pendency. All assignments, tests and other written activities must be done in Portuguese.
