Primeiro Módulo – Área de Concentração – Odontopediatria.
ATTENTION:

8:00 AM – Arrival time at the institution;

Segundo Módulo – Domínio Conexo: As disciplinas de Emergências Médicas e Terapêutica Medicamentosa, serão realizados na forma EAD.
O terceiro módulo, para as disciplinas de Ética e Legislação Odontológica e Metodologia da Pesquisa Científica, serão realizados na forma EAD.
Note: Students who have already completed the subjects in these two Related Domain modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Drug Therapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) in another Specialization course may request, from the Commercial Department before starting the course, an analysis of the exemption (validation) of these studies, provided that the minimum period of up to 4 years from the start date of the course is respected. Exceptionally for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted on the validated Related Domain subjects. If the request occurs after the start of classes, the discount will only be valid for the months following the date of the request.

Dupla Certificação: Os alunos formados neste curso receberão dois certificados, sendo eles, um certificado de Especialista em Odontopediatria reconhecido pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) e pelo Conselho Federal de Odontologia (CFO) e um de Habilitação em Laserterapia reconhecido pelo (MEC).
Apresentação de técnicas atuais com embasamento científico como: Remoção parcial do tecido cariado;
Filosofia de técnicas de mínima intervenção; Tratamento restaurador atraumático;
Tratamento das lesões traumáticas em dentes decíduos,
Reabilitação estética em odontopediatria e odontologia baseada em evidência. Habilitação Laserterapia;
O curso conta com a carga horária total de 814 horas, sendo: 750 horas para a Especialização em Odontopediatria e 64 horas na Habilitação em Laserterapia.
Os alunos da São Leopoldo Mandic terão à disposição:
· Corpo Docente experiente e qualificado;

· 03 clínicas odontológicas totalizando 30 equipos;
· Sistema de prontuários eletrônicos próprio (OdontoSig), contendo os dados dos pacientes já triados e direcionados à especialidade, que podem ser acessados pelos alunos do próprio celular de onde estiverem;
· Acesso gratuito ao Portal de Periódicos CAPES e outros periódicos e e-books nacionais e internacionais, com acesso remoto e de qualquer lugar.

The undergraduate Dentistry course is full-time. Classes are held Monday through Friday, in the morning and afternoon. There are some activities on Saturdays, according to the academic calendar. Learn more details below:

b) The documentation required to regularize the enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Secretary of the Unit, within the period in accordance with the contract:
– Birth or marriage certificate
– certified by the Brazilian consulate;
– Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter in Brazil (whenever applicable); – CRNM (National Immigration Registry Card) OR RNE (Foreign National Registry) OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil; – Professional card (which proves the permission to practice the profession) – Recent proof of residence (last three months); – One 3cm x 4cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning; – Original Graduation Diploma translated by a sworn and consularized public translator.
Note: As required by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the Graduation diploma is requested to be scanned at the institution, and must be delivered within the period in accordance with the contract, under penalty of non-issuance of the diploma if you have this pendency. All assignments, tests and other written activities must be done in Portuguese.
