Please present the following documents to Student Support: birth/marriage certificate, ID, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), professional license, proof of residence, 3x4 photo, and graduation diploma.
There is no registration fee for this course.
This course does not have an extended plan.
Cancellation up to 20 days before the start of the course/module: 80% refund, with 20% retained for administrative expenses. After this period, there will be no refund of the registration fee due to the impossibility of replacing the registrant.
The undergraduate Dentistry course is full-time. Classes are held Monday through Friday, in the morning and afternoon. There are some activities on Saturdays, according to the academic calendar. Learn more details below:

The course features a greater number of hands-on, practical hours, using advanced simulators and real ultrasound equipment. Professors are experienced in Emergency Medicine, ICU, and Vascular Surgery.

Course Content
1. Parte Teórica:
Objetivo: Dar base teórica para os participantes realizarem a prática, otimizando o tempo no hands on.
Primeiro dia:
• Boas-vindas e registros
• Introdução ao Acesso Venoso Central
– Definição e anatomia relevante.
• Segurança do Paciente
– Princípios de segurança no cenário do acesso venoso central.
– Checklist de segurança (preparação, materiais e assepsia).
• Indicações e Contraindicações
– Quando o acesso venoso central é indicado?
– Situações em que deve ser evitado.
• Complicações e Manejo
– Complicações mecânicas (pneumotórax, hematoma, punção arterial).
– Complicações infecciosas.
– Abordagem prática para identificação e tratamento imediato.
• Fundamentos do Uso do Ultrassom
– Princípios básicos do ultrassom portátil: anatomia ultrassonográfica, modos de uso e ajustes.
2. Parte Prática (Hands On)
Objetivo: Desenvolver habilidades práticas e promover a confiança na realização do procedimento.
Estrutura do Dia 1
1 – Introdução ao Simulador e Ultrassom
– Demonstração do uso correto dos materiais (kits dos catéteres, simuladores, ultrassom portátil).
– Manuseio dos equipamentos pelos participantes.
2 – Técnicas de Acesso Venoso Central
– Passo a passo com orientação prática (professor/tutor acompanha).
– Prática em grupos pequenos
– Posicionamento do paciente.
– Identificação de referências anatômicas e uso do ultrassom.
– Técnica de punção com supervisão direta.
Estrutura do Dia 2:
3.1 – Reconhecendo complicações e manejo
– Simulação de complicações comuns:
– Punção arterial acidental.
– Falha de punção e reposicionamento.
– Reconhecimento de hematomas ou pneumotórax (discussão dos casos).
3.2 – Cenários Simulados para prática
– Indicação, obtenção e identificação de complicação através de casos simulados propostos para a prática.
4 – Prática supervisionada
– Prática livre supervisionada.
5 – Avaliação Prática e Feedback Individual
– Avaliação baseada em checklist (cada participante realiza o procedimento completo).
– Feedback estruturado com pontos fortes e a melhorar.
Encerramento e Discussão Final
– Tirar dúvidas.
– Entrega de materiais complementares e certificados.
