The objective of the course is to enable the student to understand, diagnose, and treat periodontal diseases, enabling them to perform the most current clinical and surgical procedures, with a strong clinical and theoretical foundation. It also aims to train teachers, enabling them to read and understand scientific literature, thus providing the necessary skills to prepare and deliver classes, courses, and lectures.

First Module – Related Domain: Biosafety and Medical Emergencies will take place in person and with live remote transmission.
ATTENTION:
Schedule for the first day of class:
7:30 AM – Arrival time at the institution;
8:00 AM – Delivery of documentation and signing of the contract;
8:30 AM – Opening of the course with the presence of the Director of Postgraduate Studies and Research at SLMANDIC;
The six consecutive modules will also include subjects from the Related Domain Area, which take place over four days per month, with classes from Tuesday to Friday, depending on the availability of physical space, from 2 pm to 6 pm on the first day of each module and from 8 am to 6 pm on the following three days. The dates are defined according to a calendar presented by the General Secretariat.
Note: The subjects of Experimental and Human Bioethics, Scientific Research Methodology, and Biostatistics will be taught in an online format.
Note: Students who have already completed the Related Domain modules in another Master's program may request an exemption (validation) analysis from the Commercial Department before starting the course, provided that these studies were completed within a minimum period of 4 years from the start date of the course. Exceptionally, former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution will be granted a proportional discount on the validated Related Domain subjects. If the request is made after the start of classes, the discount will only be valid for the months following the date of the request.

O conteúdo englobará desde o tratamento da doença periodontal, assim como o tratamento de suas sequelas, com as regenerações teciduais guiadas, e o tratamento das discrepâncias gengivais, como o recobrimento radicular e aumento de coroa clínica estética, que comumente são chamados de Cirurgia Plástica Periodontal. Além disso o aluno terá contato com as técnicas periodontais que podem ser aplicadas aos implantes dentais.
O aluno formado nesse curso recebe um Diploma de Mestre em Periodontia, reconhecido pela CAPES/MEC. Além disso o aluno estará apto a planejar e executar Implantes Dentais, utilizando os conhecimentos periodontais para a obtenção da máxima estética rosa.

- Passport containing: Personal data and stamp and entry visa to the country;
- RNE – National Foreigner Registration or its protocol with the Federal Police, this with visa and authorization to remain in the country and indication of the period of stay;

The undergraduate Dentistry course is full-time. Classes are held Monday through Friday, in the morning and afternoon. There are some activities on Saturdays, according to the academic calendar. Learn more details below:
- a) Enrollment:

b) The documentation required to regularize the enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Secretary of the Unit, within the period in accordance with the contract:
– Birth or marriage certificate
– certified by the Brazilian consulate;
– Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter in Brazil (whenever applicable); – CRNM (National Immigration Registry Card) OR RNE (Foreign National Registry) OR the protocol issued by the Federal Police, stating the period of leave to remain in Brazil; – Professional card (which proves the permission to practice the profession) – Recent proof of residence (last three months); – One 3cm x 4cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning; – Original Graduation Diploma translated by a sworn and consularized public translator.
