Professor from the Curitiba Unit wins scholarship for research in Oregon

The Coordinator of the Restorative Dentistry course at São Leopoldo Mandic – Curitiba Unit, Dr. Amanda Mushashe, has just received a scholarship to conduct research on Restorative Materials at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Dr. Amanda Mushashe, who is a specialist in Dental Prosthetics and holds a Master's degree in Clinical Dentistry, will be at the University for one year, conducting research on dental materials.

This scholarship is part of a sandwich PhD program and will greatly enhance my academic career, as Oregon Health and Science University is a major research center in this area, she says.
