Campinas
The Campinas campus is the main campus of the São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty, the place where the initial project came to life and prospered. Currently, it is a leading center in the disciplines of Medicine and Dentistry, which, for more than 25 years, has been providing high-quality knowledge to its students. From this central unit comes the expertise that nourishes the other branches of the Institution spread throughout Brazil.
The facilities are designed to foster learning in contemporary dental and medical practices, with state-of-the-art classrooms and clinics. The excellence of the faculty, recognized nationally and internationally, ensures an education aligned with market needs and innovations in the health field, as well as with Mandic's advanced educational methodologies.
Students find here a rich ecosystem for academic and practical development, with the chance to connect to a network of influential colleagues and professors, participate in specialized training, workshops, and clinical case discussions in a safe and conducive environment for the exchange of knowledge.
Committed to its role as a transformative institution through excellence in education and research, the unit offers a wide range of courses in various medical and dental specialties. Its legacy includes an extensive roster of qualified professionals and a history of service to the community.
At the Campinas Unit, you will find a complete infrastructure, including 14 dental clinics with a total of 199 workstations, a surgical center with six operating rooms, and nursing services. In addition, there is an imaging clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including X-rays, advanced tomographs, and intraoral and facial scanners, air-conditioned classrooms with multimedia resources, five spacious auditoriums, four multidisciplinary laboratories, and the Mandic Digital system for digital dental prostheses.
Medical students have contact with patients from their first semester. Furthermore, we have state-of-the-art, fully technological laboratories with robots that simulate human reactions.
Our Anatomy Laboratory has real specimens, which contributes to high-quality study and training. In addition, we have the most complete and modern surgical techniques laboratory in the country, equipped with high-fidelity virtual reality simulators, including the Da Vinci robot, Robotix Mentor, and Lap Mentor Express.
Throughout the course, students have contact with patients. To this end, we have agreements with a complex of hospitals and health units in Campinas. In total, there are more than 1,600 beds available for students to practice and experience medicine in leading hospitals in the region.
In addition to all this, we have a physical and online library with access to the CAPES Periodicals Portal and the institution's digital collection, as well as parking and easy access to the country's main airports.
The São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty values the training of compassionate doctors and dentists; therefore, students can participate as volunteers in providing care to underprivileged people throughout Brazil. Learn about some of our projects:
