What is Prouni?

The ProUni (University for All Program) is an opportunity to obtain a full scholarship and pursue higher education with greater peace of mind, whether in undergraduate or specialized training courses. It's important to remember: the program is intended for those who do not yet hold a higher education degree.

How to participate in Prouni?

Process steps

  1. Track your pre-selection status on the ProUni Portal.
    Check if you were selected in the regular call or from the waiting list. Note the deadlines!
  2. Contact Mandic.
    Access the "My Application" area or follow our team's instructions to begin the document review process.
  3. Separate the required documents
    You will need to present documents that prove:
    • Brazilian identity and nationality
    • Education (completed high school in a public school or as a scholarship recipient in a private school)
    • Proof of gross monthly family income per person (up to 1.5 minimum wages)
    • Family group situation

Required documents

Personal documents:

  • RG and CPF (of the candidate and family members)
  • Birth or marriage certificate
  • Updated proof of address

Education:

  • High school transcript
  • High School Graduation Certificate
  • Proof of full scholarship, if you studied at a private school

Proof of income (for the last 3 months):

  • Paychecks or payslips
  • Income Tax Return (if applicable)
  • Bank statements
  • Employment record book (identification pages and contracts)
  • Self-employment declaration (if applicable)

Family group composition:

  • Documents for everyone living in the same residence
  • Proof of relationship (such as children's birth certificates)

How to send:

You will be able to submit the documents:

  • In person at the Mandic unit (see opening hours)
  • Digitally, through our "My Registration" portal (instructions will be sent by email)

Important:

  • All documents must be legible and up-to-date
  • Failure to submit within the deadline set by the MEC may result in the loss of the scholarship

I was pre-selected for Prouni

If you have been pre-selected for ProUni, now is the time to verify your information. To do this, first of all, you must fill out the form at the link below and submit all the necessary documentation for admission to São Leopoldo Mandic.

The shortlisted candidate must submit the required documentation to verify the information provided during registration and to participate in the institution's own selection process.

We advise candidates to proceed with the indicated procedures, completing the submission of documents as soon as possible, in order to guarantee compliance with the deadlines stipulated by the MEC (Ministry of Education). Documents submitted after the date stipulated by the MEC will be disregarded.

It is the CANDIDATE's sole responsibility to observe the deadlines established in the Notice, as well as to monitor any changes through the ProUni page, at the electronic address https://www.gov.br/mec/pt-br/prouni/legislacao/2026, or through the MEC Call Center, by phone 0800 616161.

What are the necessary requirements?

  • Only Brazilian students who do not hold a higher education diploma and who have participated in the National High School Examination (Enem) may register for the ProUni selection processes.
  • To have a minimum score of 450 points and not to have received a zero on the essay.
  • Not having any affiliation with Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES).
  • To have completed high school entirely at a private institution, either as a partial scholarship recipient or without a scholarship.
