Cíntia graduated in Dentistry from the University of São Paulo, USP (1985), and holds a doctorate in Functional and Molecular Biology (2007) with postdoctoral studies in Biochemical and Molecular Pharmacology, with an emphasis on Biomembranes (FAPESP, 2009 and Capes/PNPD, 2014), from the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP. Currently, she is a professor at the São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty, where she teaches Pharmacology, Physiology, and Parasitology to undergraduate medical students. Cíntia has experience in Biochemical and Molecular Pharmacology, with an emphasis on Biomembranes, working mainly on the following topics: local anesthetics, sustained-release systems, cytotoxicity and neurotoxicity studies, topical anesthetic formulations, and skin permeation.
