In 2018, he received the III Forensic Highlight Award for best thesis in Forensic Sciences – promoted by the Brazilian Society of Forensic Sciences.
He is an editor and reviewer of national and international scientific journals.
He has experience in Legal Dentistry, Dental Radiology and Imaging, Stomatology and Anatomy, with more than 100 scientific articles produced in the last 5 years. Areas of expertise: Legal Dentistry, Dental Radiology and Imaging, Stomatology and Anatomy. Research lines: dental and skeletal growth and development; dental anatomy; and the use of forensic imaging for human identification.
