São Leopoldo Mandic announces openings through Prouni 2026 for Medicine and Dentistry courses

Prouni, a program of the Ministry of Education, offers full scholarships; applications for admission in the first semester begin on January 26.

The São Leopoldo Mandic College announces the availability of places for Medicine and Dentistry courses through the University for All Program (Prouni). The program includes places for entry in the first semester of 2026. This initiative represents an important opportunity for students who wish to enter the health field with full scholarships, at a nationally recognized institution evaluated with the highest score by the Ministry of Education (MEC).

Prouni is a Brazilian federal government program that grants scholarships to private higher education institutions throughout the country. Its objective is to expand access to higher education for low-income students who have taken the National High School Exam (Enem) and meet the socioeconomic and performance criteria established in the program's guidelines.

Applications must be submitted exclusively online, through the ​​Single Access Portal , between January 26th and 29th. To be eligible for the places, candidates must have taken the ENEM exam in 2024 or 2025, achieved a minimum average score of 450 points on the objective tests, and obtained a score higher than zero on the essay. 

Furthermore, full scholarships are intended for candidates with a per capita family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages. During the selection process, supporting documentation will be required.

The required documents include:

  • Identification documents for the student and members of their family group;
  • Proof of residence;
  • Proof of income.

Finally, the Prouni selection process will have two regular rounds of applications. The announcement of the first round will take place on February 3, 2026, and the second round on March 2, 2026. After pre-selection, candidates must complete the form available on the institution's website and submit all necessary documentation.
