The Porto Alegre campus of the São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty has been in existence since 2003, and continues to leave its mark on the training of critical, ethical, and socially responsible professionals.

Its infrastructure is designed to offer cutting-edge and humanized education, with fully equipped classrooms and clinics. Furthermore, the practical and theoretical activities are taught by professors with extensive academic and professional experience, recognized nationally and internationally. All of this follows market demands, dental trends, and SLMANDIC's teaching methodologies.

With the goal of being a transformative agent in society through excellence in teaching and research, the Unit offers diverse courses in a wide variety of dental specialties, allowing students access to the most modern techniques in the profession. The intensive patient care provided in Porto Alegre and the surrounding region gives students the opportunity to experience the most modern techniques in dentistry, including access to digital patient records.

In this Unit you will find: 3 clinics (totaling 36 dental units), 1 radiology department with a state-of-the-art CT scanner, an intraoral scanning room, air-conditioned classrooms with audiovisual resources, and 1 multidisciplinary laboratory.

Students will also have access, from anywhere, to the CAPES Periodicals Portal and the Institutional Repository of the São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty, contributing to learning beyond the classroom.
