Undergraduate student in Medicine.
This course is designed to consolidate the systematization of the development of clinical reasoning and manual skills in emergency airway management situations. To this end, we have chronologically structured the content with clinical discussions and practical application of procedures in a protected and simulated environment under instructor supervision. We will address the care of patients who are victims of acute trauma and injuries, emphasizing the maintenance of functional airways through scenarios and interactive sessions. We will present and practice emergency airway management on models, including invasive maneuvers and surgical techniques. We will also cover the indication and administration of sedation and analgesia, considering different adverse situations commonly encountered in the complex care of critically ill patients, and will include the initial regulation of mechanical ventilation parameters.
With approaches such as problem-based learning, clinical simulations, and the use of advanced educational technologies, students are prepared using comprehensive and dynamic active teaching methodologies to face the challenges of modern dental practice.
The course holds certifications from the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education), guaranteeing national recognition from a major Higher Education Institution, Mandic. This ensures the quality of teaching and provides a solid and recognized education throughout the country.
A qualified and renowned faculty, offering personalized support and ongoing guidance for excellent learning.
With modern infrastructure, well-equipped clinics, multidisciplinary laboratories, and technologically advanced classrooms, we provide an ideal environment for practical and theoretical learning. Exclusively, we have a dedicated Mini Lab space, equipped with cutting-edge digital technologies and a team of highly qualified prosthetic professionals, ensuring a complete digital workflow. In addition, the radiology center has state-of-the-art equipment, such as CT scanners, portable scanners, image manipulation software, and 3D photography
