The course was designed to consolidate the systematic development of clinical reasoning and manual skills in emergency airway management situations. To this end, we have organized the content chronologically, incorporating clinical discussion and the application of practical procedures in a controlled, simulated environment under faculty supervision. We will address the care of patients with trauma and acute injuries, with an emphasis on maintaining a functional airway through scenarios and interactive sessions. We will present and provide hands-on training on models for emergency airway management, including invasive maneuvers and their surgical techniques. We will also cover the indication and administration of sedoanalgesia, taking into account various adverse situations commonly encountered in the complex care of critically ill patients, and we will include the initial adjustment of mechanical ventilation parameters.
