Overview
The Graduate Program in Dentistry, in its academic track, offers the Master’s in Dentistry and the Doctorate in Dental Sciences, both recognized by CAPES/MEC. MANDIC’s Graduate Program in Dentistry (PPG-Dentistry) comprises 5 areas of concentration, each with its own start date:

Request academic and financial clearance from the General Secretariat via secretaria@slmandic.edu.br.
After receiving approval from the Secretary General, the student must request a scheduling appointment exclusively through the SLM website. Here is the link: Scheduling an Examination Committee - Qualification.
The material to be presented must be the final version of the dissertation, in accordance with the instructions in “DISSERTATIONS AND THESES” for the chosen format.
Travel and accommodation expenses for external committee members are the STUDENT's responsibility.
If the qualifying exam is canceled, it may only be rescheduled after 30 (thirty) days have passed since the originally scheduled date. To do so, the advisor must submit a request to the General Secretariat, and the student will be charged a fee of R$ 500.00 (five hundred reais).
For the Qualification Examination, a pro-labore fee of R$300.00 must be paid to the members of the Examination Committee (comprising three members, at R$300.00 per participant).

MANDIC's PPG-Dentistry has a highly qualified faculty of doctoral professors with diverse backgrounds who are recognized both nationally and internationally. In addition, MANDIC offers state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, specialized technical staff, and an online course interaction platform. Knowledge and experience sharing is also fostered through lectures and presentations by Brazilian and international specialists, as well as partnerships with national and international institutions.
Students from many different countries are drawn to MANDIC's PPG-Dentistry program, including students from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Paraguay, Chile, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, and Angola.
The primary objective of São Leopoldo Mandic's PPG-Dentistry is to provide a solid education for highly qualified master’s and doctoral graduates prepared for advanced and transformative professional practice, with particular attention to the social context in which our graduates operate, as well as equipping them for teaching, research, and outreach in the health field, in an inseparable connection with public policies suited to local realities and guided by a social vision. To this end, MANDIC’s PPG-Dentistry fosters the development of human resources focused on practical application and innovation in healthcare; conducts research aimed at solving problems and meeting the needs of the community in which the institution operates, aligned with a development model that prioritizes not only economic growth but also quality of life; maintains a qualified, up-to-date, motivated, and, above all, institutionally committed teaching and administrative staff. Additionally, the program seeks to maintain financial self-sustainability through ongoing efforts to secure external funding from companies.
