Internationalization of the Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Dentistry

The SLMANDIC Graduate Program in Dentistry, through institutional investment, has been strengthening its international partnerships, thereby increasing the visibility of the SLMANDIC Graduate Program in Dentistry.

It is the institution’s commitment to ensure all the necessary infrastructure to achieve these objectives and to demonstrate the institution’s commitment to internationalization; SLMANDIC established an Internationalization Committee responsible for organizing international agreements and partnerships related to education, faculty and student mobility, as well as coordinating activities focused on cooperation and exchange programs.

With a view to internationalization and increasing international scientific exchange among faculty and students, the SLMANDIC Professional Master’s Program has encouraged faculty exchanges with internationally recognized universities of research excellence through paid postdoctoral fellowships. In addition, teaching courses and presenting scientific papers at international events are strongly encouraged within the institution. There is an internal regulation that provides financial resources to cover conference registration fees, airfare, and lodging for students and faculty. Check it out:

Orpheus Group

São Leopoldo Mandic College is the only Brazilian educational institution to be a member of the Orpheus Group — an organization dedicated to PhD education in biomedicine and health sciences within the European system — and a member of the European University Association, which brings together educational institutions active in the health sciences and biomedicine.
Among Orpheus’s missions are: to represent higher education and research in biomedicine and health sciences, and to influence policy-making both nationally and internationally; promoting cooperation among the association’s members and the development of effective bilateral and multilateral networks; fostering cooperation in research and the development of joint doctoral programs; facilitating the harmonization of doctoral programs in biomedicine and health sciences; to encourage the mobility of doctoral candidates and faculty; to promote quality assurance in research and doctoral education; and, in particular, to develop an accreditation process for doctoral programs in biomedicine and health sciences.
