Medical residency: specialized training in a clinical setting

About the Program

Medical Residency accredited by the National Medical Residency Commission of the Ministry of Education (CNRM/MEC)

The medical residency program at São Leopoldo Mandic College is accredited by the National Medical Residency Commission of the Ministry of Education (CNRM/MEC).

Medical Residency is a form of lato sensu postgraduate education, in the form of a specialization program, designed for graduates with a degree in medicine from higher education institutions accredited by the Ministry of Education or whose degrees have been revalidated at a Brazilian higher education institution.

Activities take place at health institutions—both university-affiliated and otherwise—that are affiliated with São Leopoldo Mandic College and located in various cities in the Campinas-SP region.

Successful candidates will undergo intensive training, receiving compensation in the form of a grant determined by the National Medical Residency Commission and working a 60-hour workweek, under the guidance and supervision of specialist physicians.
