About the Faculty Member

Dr. Carolina Janovsky is the Endocrinology Coordinator and has a remarkable academic and professional background. She earned her medical degree from the Escola Paulista de Medicina, now the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and earned her direct Ph.D. in Clinical Endocrinology. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at USP with the Elsa-Brasil group, maintaining her affiliation as a researcher in endocrinology and epidemiology.

She is currently a professor in the stricto sensu graduate program in Clinical Endocrinology at UNIFESP, advising undergraduate research, master’s, and doctoral students who aim to pursue academic careers in teaching and research. In addition, she has gained experience at various leading hospitals and laboratories in the state of São Paulo in both clinical and administrative roles, and holds an MBA in health management and economics.
