Celso Garcia Junior

Graduate in Medicine from UNICAMP, with a medical residency in psychiatry, and master's and doctoral degrees. He worked for nearly 20 years as a psychiatrist in the bone marrow transplant unit, his master's area. In the psychiatry department, he is an attending physician in the emergency unit and in the consultation-liaison sector, always supervising medical residents. In December 2005, he created the eating disorders outpatient clinic at UNICAMP, of which he was coordinator and where he developed his doctoral research.

Since 2015, he has been a professor in the medical undergraduate program at Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, where he develops theoretical and practical courses that today represent one of the most robust mental health curricula in Brazilian medical schools. Since 2019, he has been the coordinator of the medical residency and specialization program in psychiatry at Mandic, an experience that has brought greater pedagogical and organizational expertise to him and to the entire team involved in this project.
