Renata Rigacci Abdalla

Graduate in Medicine with a residency in Psychiatry at PUC Campinas, where she also began her career. She worked for more than 10 years in the Emergency Room and the psychiatry ward. She specialized in chemical dependency at UNIFESP (UNIAD) and conducted doctoral research on cocaine use and its relationship to violence. She coordinated the Unidade Recomeço Helvétia and São Paulo for more than 3 years. She is the Psychiatry Coordinator and has a distinguished career in the medical field.

Upon completing her doctorate, Dr. Renata enthusiastically joined the faculty at São Leopoldo Mandic, contributing to the development of robust mental health curricula. Since 2019, she has been coordinating the medical residency and specialization program in psychiatry at Mandic, bringing valuable pedagogical and organizational experience to herself and the project team.
