Prof. Dr. Antônio Sérgio Guimarães

A graduate in dentistry, he specialized in TMD and orofacial pain and is one of the founders of this specialty in Brazil. He holds a master’s degree in anatomy, a doctorate in health sciences, and has 49 years of experience in the field. A member of an international study group, he is the author of the book *Orofacial Pain Among Friends—Scientific Discussion* and co-author of *Treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders in the Dental Clinic*. He serves as a reviewer for the *Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache*, the *British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery*, and *Frontiers*.
