Prof. Dr. Pedro Pileggi Vinha

He holds a degree in Dentistry with a specialization in Functional Jaw Orthopedics and Orthodontics, and continued his studies in the field with a Ph.D. in Health Sciences and postdoctoral research on sleep apnea. He has been practicing for 33 years, conducting research on mouth breathing in children, sleep apnea, and headaches secondary to TMD. He has published more than 20 articles in national and international journals, as well as 10 book chapters and 30 handouts on Functional Orthodontics. He gives lectures in Brazil and abroad, totaling more than 200 presentations.
