This course is for you

Through approaches such as problem-based learning, clinical and outpatient simulations, and the use of advanced educational technologies, students are prepared—using active teaching methodologies in a comprehensive and dynamic way—to address the challenges of breastfeeding practice.

The 90-hour breastfeeding practice training will consist of caring for families, women in labor, breastfeeding mothers, and infants in the delivery room, during the “golden hour,” in the neonatal ICU, in rooming-in facilities at leading maternal and child health hospitals, and at other partner institutions.

The course includes theoretical, practical, clinical, and demonstration sessions.

The program is accredited by the MEC, ensuring national recognition from a leading institution of higher education, Mandic. This guarantees the quality of instruction and provides a solid education that is recognized throughout the country.

First module: Area of Concentration;

Second and Third Modules—Related Field: Required courses mandated by the MEC (Ministry of Education) and the CFO (Federal Council of Dentistry), which are common to all specialties, as follows:

The Second module, covering the courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology, will be delivered via distance learning.
The Third module, covering the courses in Medical Emergencies and Drug Therapy, will be delivered via distance learning.

Note: Students who have already completed the courses in these two Related Domain modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Pharmacotherapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) as part of another specialization program may request, through the Business Office, before beginning the course, a review for exemption (recognition) of these studies, provided that the minimum time limit of up to 4 years from the course start date is met. As an exception for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted for the validated Related Field courses. If the request is made after classes have begun, the discount will only apply to the months following the date of the request.

SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date specified above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrolled students must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Admissions Office before taking any further action.

Current Discounts:
A 10% discount on tuition for alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, with the exception of those who took single-module courses or who completed a program lasting less than 12 months, regardless of the campus.
Undergraduate alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic who are enrolling in their first graduate program—excluding single-module courses—receive a 15% discount on tuition and a 50% discount on the registration fee.
Students who wish to pay tuition in a lump sum each semester receive a 3% discount on tuition; for payments made in a lump sum annually, we offer a 6% discount on tuition. For courses lasting more than 24 months, when all tuition payments for the course are paid in a lump sum, the discount is 10% on tuition; and for graduate programs lasting less than 24 months, when all tuition payments are paid in a lump sum, the discount is 7% on tuition.

Submit your birth/marriage certificate, ID card, CPF, professional license, proof of residence, a 3×4 photo, and your undergraduate degree to the Student Support Office.

Tuition payment via bank slip, PIX, or credit card (minimum installment of R$ 500.00, payable in up to 10 installments).

Payment plan in 6 installments with 5% interest on the full course fee. A down payment is required before signing the contract.

Withdrawal up to 20 days before the start of the course/module: 80% refund, with 20% retained for administrative expenses. After this period, there will be no refund of the registration fee due to the inability to replace the registrant.
