First Module - Area of Concentration in Orofacial Harmonization.
The second module, covering the courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology, will be conducted via distance learning.
The third module, covering the courses Medical Emergencies and Drug Therapy, will be conducted via distance learning.
Note: Students who have already completed the courses in these two related modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Pharmacotherapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) in another specialization program may request, through the Business Office, before beginning the course, to have these studies reviewed for credit (recognition), provided that the minimum time limit of up to 4 years from the course start date is met. As an exception for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted for the recognized courses in the Related Field. If the request is made after classes have begun, the discount will only apply to the months following the date of the request.
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the scheduled date if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrollees must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Sales Department before taking any further action.
“Admission to the class is contingent upon the date the CRO is issued, as, due to the regulatory approval process with the CFO, that date cannot be later than the course start date.”
