Course Description: 07746
The first module will be held in person over 4 days, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for the courses on Medical Emergencies and Drug Therapy.
The second module, covering the courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology, will be conducted through distance learning.
Note: Students who have already completed the courses in these two Related Subject Areas (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Pharmacotherapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) in another specialization program may request, through the Admissions Office, before beginning the course, to have these studies reviewed for credit (validation), provided that the minimum timeframe of up to 4 years from the course start date is met.
Starting with the third module, the course is held regularly from Wednesday through Saturday, with classes from Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., focusing on the Area of Concentration (Endodontics).
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date scheduled above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrolled students must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Sales Department before making any arrangements.

Enrollment Payment Method: Bank payment slip or credit card (minimum installment of R$ 500.00, payable in up to 6 installments). Extended Payment Plan: This option allows you to spread the regular payment plan over 6 installments, with a 5% interest charge applied to the total cost of the course. Monthly Tuition Payment Methods: Monthly tuition payments must be made via bank payment slips due no later than 5 days before the start of the course. For international students, the student must pay three installments in advance on the first day of class, in Brazilian currency (Real). The remaining installments must be paid monthly starting with the second module, due on the 10th of each month. Refunds: (1) If a registered student submits a request to withdraw from the course under the terms mentioned above, at least 20 (twenty) days before the course start date, São Leopoldo Mandic College will refund the equivalent of 80% (eighty percent) of the total course fee, with the remaining 20% (twenty percent) considered administrative expenses; (2) If the registrant submits a request to withdraw from the course under the terms set forth above after the course has begun, the registrant will forfeit the right to a refund of the course fee, even if they have not attended classes, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, the Institution’s General Regulations for Graduate Studies, and also because the courses are offered based on the number of enrolled students, in which case the spot vacated by the withdrawing student is considered filled; (3) For students enrolled in courses designated as “Remaining Spots/Immediate Start,” if the student submits a request to withdraw from the course under the terms mentioned above at least 20 (twenty) days before the start date of the next module, São Leopoldo Mandic College will refund 80% (eighty percent) of the tuition fee, with the remaining 20% (twenty percent) considered administrative expenses. (4) If the cancellation request is made less than 20 (twenty) days before the start of classes, the registrant acknowledges that the enrollment fee will not be refunded, since the Institution will not have sufficient time to replace the registrant with another candidate; it is understood that services related to reserving the spot have been rendered, justifying the receipt of the registration fee. Important Note: If the course does not take place or is postponed for any reason by the Institution, the registrant will be entitled to a 100% (one hundred percent) refund of the registration fee paid, regardless of when the registrant becomes aware of this rescheduling. If the registrant, upon becoming aware of this rescheduling, chooses to withdraw from the course, the refund will be 80% of the enrollment fee paid.
Special Discounts: 30% discount on the registration fee for payments made by December 31, 2023, a 20% discount for payments made by January 31, 2024, and a 10% discount for payments made by February 18, 2024. Current Discounts: A 10% discount on monthly tuition for alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, except for those who took single-module courses or completed a course lasting less than 12 months, at the Campinas, Brasília, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, and Vila Velha campuses. Undergraduate alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic who are enrolling in their first graduate program—excluding single-module courses—receive a 15% discount on tuition and a 50% discount on the enrollment fee. Students who wish to pay tuition in a lump sum every semester receive a 3% discount on monthly tuition; For payments made in a lump sum annually, we offer a 4% discount on monthly tuition; For courses lasting more than 12 months, when all tuition payments for the course are paid in a lump sum, the discount is 7% on tuition. Discounts will not be granted for enrollment fees, with the exception of former undergraduate students of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic who are enrolling in their first course.
