, covering the courses in Medical Emergencies and Pharmacotherapy, will be conducted via distance
learning.
Note:
Students who have already completed the courses in these two Related Subject Areas (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Pharmacotherapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) as part of another specialization program may request, through the Admissions Office, before beginning the course, to have these studies reviewed for credit (recognition), provided that the minimum time period of up to 4 years from the course start date is met. As an exception for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted for the validated Related Field courses. If the request is made after classes have begun, the discount will only apply to the months following the date of the request.
Starting with the fourth module, the course will be held regularly from Monday through Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with classes focused on the Area of Concentration (Orofacial Harmonization).
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the scheduled date if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrollees must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Sales Department so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
