First Module - Specialization: Orthodontics.
The second module, covering the courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology, will be offered through distance learning.
The third module, covering the courses in Medical Emergencies and Pharmacotherapy, will be offered through distance learning.
Note: Students who have already completed the courses in these two Related Subject Areas (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Pharmacotherapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) as part of another specialization program may request, through the Admissions Office, before beginning the course, to have these studies reviewed for credit (recognition), provided that the minimum time period of up to 4 years from the course start date has elapsed. As an exception for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted for the validated Related Field courses. If the request is made after classes have begun, the discount will only apply to the months following the date of the request.
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date specified above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrolled students must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Business Department so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
“Admission to the class is contingent upon the date the CRO is issued, as—due to the regulatory approval process with the CFO—that date cannot be later than the course start date.”
