Through approaches such as problem-based learning, clinical simulations, and the use of advanced educational technologies, students are prepared—using active teaching methodologies in a comprehensive and dynamic way—to meet the challenges of modern dental practice.
The program includes theoretical, practical, laboratory, clinical, and demonstration classes.
The program is accredited by the MEC and the CFO, ensuring national recognition from a leading institution of higher education, Mandic. This guarantees the quality of instruction and provides a solid education that is recognized throughout the country.
Triple Certification: Dental surgeons who graduate from this program will receive three certifications: a certificate as a Specialist in Orthodontics, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Federal Council of Dentistry (CFO), as well as certificates in Training in Orofacial Harmonization with a Therapeutic Focus and Training in Digital Workflow with Orthodontic Aligners, all recognized by the MEC.

In addition, the radiology center features state-of-the-art equipment, such as CT scanners, a portable scanner, image processing software, and 3D imaging capabilities.
First module—Orthodontics concentration.
Second and third modules: Related Field: Required courses mandated by the MEC (Ministry of Education) and the CFO (Federal Council of Dentistry), which are common to all specialties, as follows:
Second module: Courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology will be delivered via distance learning.
Third module: Courses in Medical Emergencies and Pharmacotherapy will be conducted via distance learning.
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date specified above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrollees should wait for confirmation of the start date from the Sales Department before making any arrangements.

A 10% discount on tuition for alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, except for those who took single-module courses or who completed a program lasting less than 12 months, regardless of the campus.
Undergraduate alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic who are enrolling in their first graduate program—excluding single-module courses—receive a 15% discount on tuition and a 50% discount on the registration fee.
Students who wish to pay tuition in a lump sum each semester receive a 3% discount on tuition; for payments made in a lump sum annually, we offer a 6% discount on tuition. For courses lasting more than 24 months, when all tuition payments for the course are paid in a lump sum, the discount is 10% on tuition; and for graduate courses lasting less than 24 months, when all tuition payments are paid in full upfront, the discount is 7% on tuition.
