Through approaches such as problem-based learning, clinical simulations, and the use of advanced educational technologies, students are prepared using active teaching methodologies in a comprehensive and dynamic way to meet the challenges of modern dental practice.
The program includes theoretical, practical, clinical, laboratory, and demonstration classes.
The program is accredited by the MEC and the CFO, ensuring national recognition from a leading institution of higher education, Mandic. This guarantees the quality of instruction and provides a solid education that is recognized throughout the country.
Triple Certification: Professionals who complete this course receive a certificate as a Specialist in Periodontics, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Federal Council of Dentistry (CFO), as well as two additional MEC-recognized certifications: Training in Direct and Indirect Veneers and Training in Venipuncture and L-PRF (MEC).

Courses that are mandatory and required by the MEC (Ministry of Education) and the CFO (Federal Council of Dentistry), which are common to all specialties, as follows:
Second module: Courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology will be conducted via distance learning
Third module: Courses in Medical Emergencies and Pharmacotherapy will be conducted via distance learning.
Note: Students who have already completed the Conexo courses may request credit recognition. Starting with the fourth module, the course will resume its regular schedule, following the academic calendar.
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the scheduled date if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrolled students must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Sales Department before making any arrangements. “Admission to the class is contingent upon the date the CRO is issued, as—due to the regulatory approval process with the CFO—that date cannot be later than the course start date.”

A 10% discount on tuition for former students of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, except for those who took single-module courses or completed a course lasting less than 12 months, regardless of the campus.
Undergraduate alumni of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic who are enrolling in their first graduate program—excluding single-module courses—receive a 15% discount on tuition and a 50% discount on the enrollment fee.
Students who wish to pay tuition in a lump sum each semester receive a 3% discount on tuition; for payments made annually in a lump sum, we offer a 6% discount on tuition. For programs lasting more than 24 months, when all tuition payments for the program are paid in a lump sum, the discount is 10% on monthly tuition; and for graduate courses lasting less than 24 months, when all monthly tuition payments are paid in full, the discount is 7% on monthly tuition.
