Second and Third Modules - Related Field:

The second module
for the Related Domain
courses—Medical Emergencies and Drug Therapy—
will be conducted via distance learning.
The third module
for the Related Field
courses—Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology—
will be conducted via distance learning.
Note: Students who have already completed the courses in these two Related Fields modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Drug Therapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) as part of another specialization program may request, through the Business Office, before beginning the course, to have these studies reviewed for credit (recognition), provided that the minimum time limit of up to 4 years from the course start date is met. As an exception for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted for the validated Related Field courses. If the request is made after classes have begun, the discount will only apply to the months following the date of the request.
Starting with the fourth module, the course will meet regularly from Thursday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with classes focused on the Area of Concentration (Orofacial Harmonization).
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date specified above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrollees must await confirmation of the start date from the Sales Department so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
“Admission to the class is contingent upon the date the CRO is issued, since, due to the regulatory approval process with the CFO, that date cannot be later than the course start date.”
