To foster innovation in clinical practice, promoting the development of therapeutic skills and broadening the dental surgeon’s perspective; to establish protocols aimed at reducing complications and increasing the safety of outpatient care; To train dental surgeons in the use of conscious sedation with nitrous oxide and oxygen, enabling them to employ this technique safely and effectively in their daily practice. Train students in medication-based sedation using the concepts and application of the PRE (Stress Reduction Protocol). Our course features a team with extensive experience in sedation in both the private and public sectors, as well as all the necessary equipment for medical emergency procedures. In addition to inhalation sedation, students will learn about standard procedures and up-to-date protocols for medical emergencies in dentistry. We will provide hours of clinical practice so that students feel confident and secure in using sedation, preparing them for today’s market, where the number of people with anxiety and dental phobia is steadily increasing.
