Through approaches such as problem-based learning, clinical simulations, and the use of advanced educational technologies, students are prepared—using active teaching methodologies in a comprehensive and dynamic way—to meet the challenges of modern dental practice.
The program includes theoretical, practical, clinical, demonstration, and laboratory classes.
The program has been in operation since 2002, is accredited by CAPES, and received a grade of 5 (for the 2017–2020 evaluation period). São Leopoldo Mandic College is the only Brazilian educational institution to be a member of the Orpheus group—the Organization for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences within the European System—which brings together educational institutions active in the health sciences and biomedicine. Among Orpheus’s missions, the following stand out: to represent higher education and research in biomedicine and health sciences, and to influence policy formulation, both nationally and internationally; to promote cooperation among the association’s members and the development of effective bilateral and multilateral networks; and to foster cooperation in research and the development of joint doctoral programs.
The Professional Master's Program in Dentistry features highly qualified faculty members with doctoral degrees, diverse academic backgrounds, and national and international recognition.
With modern infrastructure, well-equipped clinics, multidisciplinary laboratories, and high-tech classrooms, we provide the ideal environment for both practical and theoretical learning. We are the only institution to feature a dedicated Mini Lab space, equipped with cutting-edge digital technologies and a team of highly skilled prosthetic professionals, ensuring a fully digital workflow. In addition, the radiology center features state-of-the-art equipment, such as CT scanners, a portable scanner, image-processing software, and 3D photography capabilities.
The first module will be held in person from Tuesday through Thursday, February 9, 10, and 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for the course “Related Field: Higher Education Methodology.”
The second module will be held from March 1 to 30, 2026, for the course “Related Field: Scientific Research Methodology,” in a distance learning format.
The third module will be held on April 6, 7, and 8, 2026, for the course “Related Field: Pharmacotherapy.”
The fourth module will be held from May 1 to 30, 2026, for the related subject: Biostatistics, in a distance learning format.
The fifth module will be held on June 15, 16, and 17, 2026, for the Related Field course: Biosafety and Medical Emergencies, in an in-person format.
The sixth module will cover courses in the Area of Concentration, on dates set by the college.
The seventh module will take place from August 1 to 30, 2026, for the Related Field course: Bioethics, and will be conducted via distance learning.
The eighth module will take place on September 22, 23, and 24, 2026, for the Related Field course: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and will be held in-person at the National Meeting with all Professional Master’s programs at the Campinas Campus.
Starting with the ninth module, the program will proceed with the concentration courses, as per the schedule.
Note: Students who have already completed the Related Field courses may request credit transfer.
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date specified above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrolled students must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Admissions Office so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
