To prepare physicians to safely manage medical emergencies through a fully hands-on learning approach supported by a solid theoretical foundation. By the end of the course, students will be able to: quickly assess critical situations, prioritize interventions, and apply evidence-based protocols under pressure; manage severe and unstable cases (sepsis, multiple trauma, coronary syndromes, stroke, respiratory failure, and metabolic emergencies) with technical proficiency; perform essential emergency procedures and use POCUS to support clinical decision-making; integrate national and international guidelines into the routine of Brazilian emergency services; lead multidisciplinary teams through clear communication, structured handoffs, and on-call management; and use digital tools and artificial intelligence applied to emergency medicine critically and responsibly.
