About the center
NAP supports students throughout their academic journey, offering assistance so they can experience their training in a safe, autonomous, and responsible way. NAP helps students face the challenges of their program with greater confidence, a sense of belonging, and satisfaction with their own learning style.
Who can access NAP?
- 1. Undergraduate students at Faculdades São Leopoldo Mandic
- 2. Graduate students at Faculdades São Leopoldo Mandic
- 3. Family members of Faculdades São Leopoldo Mandic students who wish to obtain information about the institutional support available throughout academic training
Opening hours
- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm.
- Closed for lunch: from 12 pm to 1:30 pm

How can NAP help?
Support throughout the academic journey
From enrollment to the final stages of the program, NAP accompanies students on their academic journey, supporting adaptation, overcoming difficulties, and building a more secure path, in dialogue with faculty and program coordinators.
Psychopedagogical guidance
Listening and guidance sessions that help students recognize their own resources to cope with difficulties and strengthen their academic and emotional development.
Study and organizational strategies
Guidance on time and study management strategies, the use of learning techniques, and academic planning.
Inclusion and specific educational needs
Support for students with specific educational needs, including disabilities or other health conditions that may impact learning and academic participation.

O NAP orienta estudantes com necessidades educacionais específicas, como deficiência, TDAH, TEA, dislexia, transtornos de aprendizagem, condições de saúde física ou mental, limitações temporárias ou outras situações que possam interferir na participação acadêmica. Essas situações podem justificar a análise de recursos de acessibilidade acadêmica ou acomodações pedagógicas, como orientação pedagógica, tempo adicional em avaliações, sala separada, ajustes no ambiente de prova, mediação com docentes ou outros apoios compatíveis com a necessidade apresentada. A solicitação deve ser feita ao NAP com antecedência, preferencialmente no início do semestre ou assim que a necessidade for identificada. Para avaliações, recomenda-se que o pedido seja realizado com pelo menos 15 dias de antecedência. A apresentação de atestado, laudo ou relatório profissional não garante automaticamente a concessão de acomodações. A documentação é necessária para subsidiar a análise, mas não substitui a avaliação do NAP. Nos cursos de Medicina e Odontologia, as acomodações devem ser compreendidas como ajustes razoáveis, que podem reduzir barreiras mas não podem alterar os objetivos de aprendizagem ou comprometer a segurança do estudante, dos colegas e dos pacientes. Para solicitar a análise, o estudante deve entrar em contato com o NAP da sua faculdade, apresentar a documentação disponível e seguir as orientações da equipe.
