São Leopoldo Mandic College signs an agreement for SUS healthcare services at Casa de Saúde Campinas
As part of the process to begin operations at Casa de Saúde Campinas, São Leopoldo Mandic signed an agreement to provide care through the SUS and strengthen public health care in the region.
On Monday, May 25, São Leopoldo Mandic College filed an agreement with the State Government of São Paulo to begin providing care through the Unified Health System (SUS) at Casa de Saúde Campinas. The agreement represents yet another step forward for the institution in strengthening healthcare and medical education in the city of Campinas.
Recently, São Leopoldo Mandic College announced a partnership with Casa de Saúde Campinas, an initiative that will allow the institution to operate within the facility’s hospital structure. Yesterday afternoon, the college took another step toward consolidating the partnership by formally filing the agreement to provide medical care through the Unified Health System (SUS).
The partnership’s main objective is to increase the number of available hospital beds and help relieve pressure on the region’s public health system. To this end, the medical school has invested in infrastructure renovations and the modernization of hospital equipment. In addition, the institution has hired and trained a multidisciplinary team prepared to ensure qualified, compassionate, and safe care for patients.
Initially scheduled to begin in July 2026, the São Leopoldo Mandic operation at Casa de Saúde Campinas will expand healthcare services provided through the SUS and strengthen medical education, offering students another practical training setting connected to the hospital routine in the city of Campinas. Through their work at Casa de Saúde Campinas, students will have direct contact with different medical specialties and multidisciplinary teams.

This partnership also reinforces our mission to integrate care, education, and social responsibility through Casa de Saúde Campinas,” emphasized the president of the Mandic Group, Dr. José Luiz Cintra Junqueira.
The initiative aims to bring academic training even closer to the reality of the public health system. The practical experience at Casa de Saúde Campinas contributes to a more comprehensive medical education, connected to the community’s needs and aligned with the challenges of hospital care.
