Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic (SLMandic), a national leader in dentistry among the country’s higher education institutions, announces the launch of Odonto Conference, which is set to be the largest dental education event in Brazil. With more than 50 renowned dental specialists confirmed to participate in lectures and hands-on workshops, and over 5,000 professionals expected to attend, the conference will take place at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo on August 11 and 12, 2025.
Among the highlights of the program is the participation of João Adibe, president and CEO of the Cimed Group, one of the country’s largest pharmaceutical groups. Recognized for his bold business vision and for transforming Cimed into a market giant, Adibe will participate in the event to discuss entrepreneurship and innovation in the healthcare sector, inspiring dentists and other professionals in the field to think beyond clinical practice.
In addition to him, the Odonto Conference will feature a selection of nationally renowned figures in dentistry, such as André Kimura, a specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry; José Carlos Imparato, a professor at FOUSP and a leading authority in Pediatric Dentistry; Maristela Lobo, a leading authority in Periodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry; Cici Navarro, a dental surgeon and digital influencer in the field of dentistry; and Paulo Vinícius Soares (PV), a specialist in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. José Luiz Junqueira, founder of São Leopoldo Mandic, is also confirmed to attend the event.
“Brazil leads the world in the number of dentists and dental schools. There are more than 400,000 professionals and more than 540 dental schools. Given this landscape, we realized it was time to create an event that lives up to our potential: the Odonto Conference was created to update, enhance, and shape the future of Brazilian dentistry,” says Zeca Junqueira, Director of New Business at Mandic.
The event goes beyond lectures, featuring more than 20 hands-on activities, including workshops and technical sessions, providing a complete immersion in clinical innovations, professional development, and the exchange of experiences with the field’s leading experts.
“Odonto Conference arrives with the mission of strengthening Brazil’s leading role in global dental education. We’ll feature technical content, high-quality networking, business insights, and an environment where the future of dentistry will be shaped in real time,” adds Zeca.
