The course will take place on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
First Module: Area of Concentration
Second and Third Modules—Related Field: Required courses mandated by the MEC (Ministry of Education) and the CFO (Federal Council of Dentistry), which are common to all specialties, as follows:
The second module, covering the courses in Dental Ethics and Legislation and Scientific Research Methodology, will be conducted via distance learning.
The third module, covering the courses in Medical Emergencies and Drug Therapy, will be conducted via distance learning.
Note: Students who have already completed the courses in these two “Related Fields” modules (Medical Emergencies, Scientific Research Methodology, Pharmacotherapy, and Dental Ethics and Legislation) as part of another specialization program may request, through the Business Office, before beginning the course, to have these studies reviewed for credit (recognition), provided that the minimum time limit of up to 4 years from the course start date is met. As an exception for former students of the São Leopoldo Mandic Institution, a proportional discount will be granted on the validated Related Field courses. If the request is made after classes have begun, the discount will only apply to the months following the date of the request.
SLMandic reserves the right not to start the course on the date specified above if the minimum number of students is not reached. Enrolled students must wait for confirmation of the start date from the Admissions Office before taking any further action.
