Etiopathogenesis of Stomatognathic System Diseases and Therapeutic Approaches – Examines the etiopathogenesis of oral diseases related to host factors, including genetic alterations, microbiota, and immunoregulation, as well as therapeutic approaches.

Oral Rehabilitation and Properties of Dental Materials and Dental Substrates – Evaluates oral rehabilitation through experimental and observational methods, addressing direct and indirect restorations as well as conventional and implant-supported prostheses.

Maxillofacial Stability – Investigates procedures, resources, and conditions related to maxillofacial stability through the scientific evaluation of techniques and outcomes.

Osseointegration, Reconstructive and Regenerative Grafts – A Critical Study of the Implant/Bone and Implant/Mucosal Interfaces with Clinical Follow-up. Evaluates mucogingival techniques, medication protocols, and biomaterials in reconstructive and regenerative surgeries.

Epidemiology, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Oral Diseases in Children and Adolescents – Evaluates the epidemiological aspects, diagnosis, and impact on quality of life of oral diseases in children and adolescents; studies evidence-based treatment modalities and a philosophy of minimal intervention.

Bioengineering in orthodontics – Development and application of equipment, instruments, and medications tailored to the needs of tissues; technological and biological studies of tissue-biomaterial interactions.

Craniofacial Growth and Development – A critical study of craniofacial development with regard to interception techniques, orthodontic movement, and the use of medications; an assessment of patient perception.

Tooth- and/or mucosa-supported prostheses and implant-supported prostheses – Laboratory and clinical evaluation of fixed/removable prostheses (partial, complete, implant-supported); physicochemical and mechanical properties, and longitudinal clinical performance.

Use of Images for Diagnosis and Treatment Planning in Dentistry: Acquisition, Interpretation, and Analysis – This course examines diagnostic imaging methods, acquisition techniques, post-processing tools, analysis, teaching and learning, interpretation, and application in dental specialties.

Evaluation of health policies, programs, services, and initiatives – Evaluates health programs, interventions, practices, management tools, and services using quantitative and qualitative methods.

Epidemiology and Health Promotion – Investigates care strategies focused on major oral health problems; applies quantitative and qualitative methods to community health processes, morbidity, risk factors, and interventions.
